Mr. Lee E. Kennedy

Lee E. Kennedy, 91, of Greensboro, formerly of Pecos, NM; Morenci, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Kwajalien, Marshall Islands; and Winston-Salem, NC passed away February 11, 2010. His funeral service will be Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro with entombment to follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.

He was preceded in death by his 7 brothers, and 3 sisters. His immediate survivors are his wife, Geneva of the home; son, Harry Kennedy and wife, Nina of Dupo, IL; Rex Kennedy of Greensboro; brother, Earl Kennedy of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Marc Kennedy of Germany and several nieces and nephews. He retired in 1981 from Western Electric where he was a Radar Technician; and he was a 70 year member of the Elks Lodge 1174 of Clifton, AZ.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. on Sunday until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
