Larry was married to four wonderful women. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Billy Cox.
He was an entrepreneur. Larry opened and operated the Blue Fox Tavern that was on Spring Garden St. He later opened and operated Southside Auto Body Repair and Southside Auto Sales which has been in operation for over 40 years. Larry loved to travel either by land or by sea. He owned many different types of boats with sailing being his favorite. With his green thumb and his patience, his vegetable gardens were bountiful.
Surviving are his sister, Srether “Sami” Cox of Randleman; his identical twin brother, Garry Kepley and wife Carolyn of Greensboro; nieces, Vivian Cox, Janice Cox, Cheryl Surratt, Vickie Earnhardt and great niece, Amy Cox.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
