Kenneth Brooks Jackson

Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2011, from 2-3 pm at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Adrian Harris officiating. Interment will occur at Guilford Memorial Park.

Brooks was born November 23, 1983 in Greensboro, NC where he has lived all of his life. He attended Ragsdale High School, was a graduate of Britain Academy and had attended East Carolina University. Brooks played baseball since he was 5 years old through high school and made it to the Allstars every year. He received many awards and honors and from every game, kept a baseball signed by all the team members and coaches involved. His mother and Nana were devoted fans and never missed a game. Brooks loved being with family & friends, especially his beautiful daughter Ava. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Carolina Tarheel fan.Brooks was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth F Jackson, Jr and his cousin Justin K Suits.

Left to grieve are his wife Amber Krone Jackson, daughter Ava Elizabeth, and step-daughter Hannah Marie. Also his mother Kimberly G Dorman (Dana), brother Blake Jackson, sister Nicole Jackson, step-brother Madison Dorman, paternal grandparents Kenneth Foye & Betty Jackson, maternal grandparents Leroy & Betty Dixon, aunts Brenda (Benny) Phipps, Pam (Ron) Teachey, Kim (Scott) Allen, uncle Don (Sam) Dixon, beloved cousins, Ryan, Brandon (Leanne) & Katlyn Dixon, Jordan (Scott) Morris, Jared & Jena Phipps, Faryn & Carson Teachey and Gina Allen.

The family welcomes visitors at other times at the home of his paternal grandparents, Foye & Betty Jackson.
