A private graveside will be held at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Karen was born August 22, 1953 in Siler City, the daughter of William Alfred Foust, Jr. and Louise Myers Foust.
Karen was a member of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Wallace “Glen” Austin of Kernersville; sons, Charles “Steve” Wallace, Jr. and wife Amy of Winston-Salem and Benjamin Wallace and wife Debra Strock of Chico, CA; sisters, Beverly Corum and husband Stan and Judy Foust, all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Blair and Preston Wallace.
The family asks with gratitude that memorial’s in Karen’s name be made to The Shepherd’s Center-Kernersville, 431 N. Bodenhamer St. B, Kernersville, NC 27284.
