Justin Michael Snyder

Born in Greensboro, NC on June 22, 1987. Justin graduated from Ragsdale High School in 2005 and earned an A.A.S. Degree in Construction Management from Guilford Technical Community College in 2008. Justin lived in Charlotte (2012) with his beloved girlfriend Taylor and their faithful canine companion Tyson. Justin also had his own business as a piercing artist at Absolute Tattoo.

Justin’s life has been a testament of strength and faith in the Lord; receiving three open heart surgeries; His first surgery at age three, second at age 9 and his last and most difficult surgery, at age 27, was just this past September. He was fiercely loyal and protective of his loved ones, but would give his last dollar to a stranger in need. Justin loved life and shared this love with his family and friends. Justin was a sweet soul and he served as inspiration to those who knew and loved him. He was a very rare and special young man who will be missed most dearly. We all feel blessed to have known, loved, and shared this journey in life with Justin; until we are all together again in Heaven, we will continue to “Not judge a book by its cover” and continue to “Pray Hard”.

Justin’s family would like to thank the staffs at Duke University Hospital, Moses Cone Hospital, and Chapel Hill NC Children’s Hospital. Without their caring, compassionate, and competent talents we would not have been able to receive the time God granted us to have Justin in our lives and for this we are so deeply grateful.

Justin is survived by, love of his life, girlfriend Taylor Suzanne Harwell and their canine boxer companion, Tyson of Charlotte; father, Michael Shawn Snyder of High Point; his mother and step-father, Mary Price Snyder Clement and husband Joseph Clement of Jamestown; sister Jessica Snyder Lynch, brother-in-law Dustin Lynch, niece Holly Lynch, and two nephews Jacob Lynch and Luke Lynch. Also surviving are Aunts: Karen Price Ransdell, Sharon Miller, Deborah Thomas, Ruth Tucker, Elizabeth Jordan and Crystal Tucker; Uncles: Todd Snyder, Shannon Jones, Louie Miller, Jeff Tucker, Dan Thomas, and Darrin Jordan; Cousins: Jason Heaton, Jodi Child, Josh Ransdell, Matthew Miller, Andrew Gore, Zachary Tucker, Jonathan Ransdell, Adam Gore, Daniel Tucker, Carrie Reyes, Hannah Jordan, Sarah Jordan and Ryan Reznichek; all his family & brothers at Absolute Tattoo and all his close friends who are too numerous to name - Justin loved you all!

Family will receive friends at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro on Friday, February 20, from 6pm – 8pm. Funeral service will be held at Hanes Lineberry Chapel on Saturday, February 21, at 11 am conducted by the Reverend Charles Kelly. Interment will follow at Deep River Friends Cemetery. Following the services on Saturday family will receive friends at the home of Karen Price Ransdell, 4022 Tellmont Ct. (Mendenhall Mill Subdivision on Penny Rd.), High Point, NC 27265.
