Joyce Huffman Kincaid Inman, 74, a resident of Greensboro died Sunday February 12, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital. Mrs. Inman was born in Peoria, NC, the daughter of Marshall Wilfong and Annie Clay Kincaid. She owned and operated Bobby’s Seafood for over 30 years. She was a member of Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church and the Lee’s Bible Class. Joyce was married to Bobby Ray Inman who preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Howard Kincaid.
Surviving is one son, Don Inman and wife Rhonda of Randleman; one daughter, Brenda Inman Chrismon and husband Mike of Greensboro; her twin sister, Loyce Winkler of Tallahassee, FL, Miriam Lawrence of Watauga Co, Elizabeth Conrad of Greensboro, Irene Wright of Greensboro; sister-in-law Elizabeth Kincaid of Greensboro and two grandchildren, Katie Chrismon and Brittany Wall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Jock Ollis. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27409.
The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, the Palliative Care at Wesley Long Hospital that have shown their love and care to Joyce and to the family and friends for their support we have received; especially to Mary Bondurant and Eula Quate.
