Josephine Sestito Saintsing, 89, died peacefully Sunday September 4th after a long illness. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio February 22, 1927. One of six children, with one brother remaining, Pete Sestito.
Josephine was a member of CrossPoint Baptist Church. She spent her career at Western Electric – A T & T for 35 years. She was an active member of the Pioneers of America. Josephine loved to travel, dance and was an artist in her own right.
She was a loving mother to Kathryn Noe of Miami, FL, Wendee Saintsing of Wilson and Cindee Bridges and husband Tim of Jamestown.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. John Kimmons. Inurnment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
The family would like to give special thanks to Josephine’s caregiver, Gwen Shough, who was by her side until the end.
