In loving memory of Mark Brooks, who peacefully passed away at age 50, on March 9, 2023, in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. Mark was born in Ocilla, Georgia in 1972. He made a home with the love of his life, Cecilia Brooks, had three beautiful children, and enjoyed 29 years of marriage.
Mark was a hardworking, family man. When he wasn’t working, he could usually be found doing projects at home or with friends because he didn’t like to be idle. However, he also loved watching his favorite shows or movies, and would often watch his grandson's favorite shows as well.
He loved to have get-togethers at his home, man the grill himself and spend time with his family. Mark was quick to laugh and loved to poke fun to make people smile.
Mark is survived by his wife, Cecillia Brooks, two daughters, Victoria Brooks and Shellie Brooks, his son, Jessie Brooks and Akatosh Macragea, who was like a son to him; His grandsons, Rayne Brooks and Wulvan Brooks; As well as his parents, Roy Brooks and Geraldine Brooks, his sister, Charlene Brooks and his brother, Terry Brooks.
The family will be hosting a service to celebrate his life at a later date.
