Joe Vann Moore

Cryptside service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Michael Barrett officiating.

Born in Chatham County, Mr. Moore was the son of Cola Victor and Ida Norwood Moore. He was retired from the Lorillard Corporation, a member of Guilford Baptist Church, the VFW, Guilford College Civitan International, AARP and a US Air Force veteran.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Irma Buchanan Moore, daughters, Delaine McCaskill and her husband John of Randleman, Donna Lynn Moore of Ocean City, NJ, sister, Mrs. Ruth Duty of Raleigh, 2 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
