Joan Carroll Roever

Mrs. Joan Carroll Stewart Roever, 79, passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at the Hospice Home of High Point. She was born July 23, 1935 in East Meadow, New York the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Violet Zierman Stewart. She was a former employee with Tar Heel Remodelers. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Julius E. Roever.

She is survived by her children, Gwen Bader (Tom) of Greensboro, Sharon Kowalski (Stan) of Jamestown, Thomas Roever of Greensboro, Kim Kimpleton (Kelly) of High Point, Jennifer Nix of Randleman; brothers, Steve Stewart of CT, Barry Stewart of FL; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Service to Celebrate Joan’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church 3600 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410, conducted by Pastor Jay Hilbinger.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made in Joan’s memory to the Shout Service c/o First Lutheran Church or to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262
