Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking for her family, going to the beach and mountains. She was a farm girl and believed in hard work. Jo Ann will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Corina Wilkens, and husband, Lewis M. Way.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Lewis Way, Robert Way, Keith Way, granddaughters, Michelle Castillo, Amber Way, great-grandchildren, Sonja Chea, Ricky Chea, Vincent Chea, Carmen Castillo and several nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Jo Ann will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC.
