Mrs. Jessie Lee Miller

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens.

Mrs. Miller was a loyal member of Rankin Baptist Church for 53 years. She was a church historian, involved with Francis Tilley Missions, Happy Hearts, Long Range Planning, Transportation and the Bylaws Committees. She was the owner and operator of Rankin Beauty Shop for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with others. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Ima Lee, husband, Ed Miller, grandson, Troy McNeil, brother, Colvet Lee, sisters, Ruby Gurganous, Ernestine Lee, brothers-in-law, Ernest Gurganous, Julian Mills, sister-in-law, Margie Lee, nieces; Janet Gurganous, Joy Mills and nephew, Larry Lee.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Wayne McNeil and wife, Dana of Greensboro and sister, Helen Mills of Raleigh.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
