A private cryptside service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2019 in the chapel mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jessie was born April 28, 1928, in Greensboro, to the late June Weslie Foust and Annie Poole Foust and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Jessie retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Manufacturing Company after over 30 years of employment. She enjoyed working puzzle books, and reading books by Billy Graham and Joel Osteen. Jessie was an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Sam” Dunn.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Ann Minish and Theresa Summers (Linton); son, Ricky “Joe” Dunn (Linda); 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Carriage House Memory Care Unit, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, and Doctors Making House Calls for the loving care they gave to Jessie.
