He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on May 16, 1957 to Hannelore and James Donald Pearman Sr.
He graduated from James B. Dudley Senior High School in 1975. Throughout his life he was in
the Automotive Industry. He was an employee of Vann York AutoMall in High Point, NC and had
worked there for 21 years. Prior to that, he had worked for Galloway Buick and North State
Chevrolet for many years in downtown Greensboro.
He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Deborah
Pearman of 46 years; daughter, Audrey Humble and husband Neil; son, Daniel Pearman and
fiance Carlee Needham. Donnie’s grandchildren Garrett and Sidney Humble, Brody and Adler
Pearman and Easton, Deegan and Waylon Ballard were the joys of his life. They all enjoyed
spending time with their Papa fishing, four wheeling, swimming, boating and racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Pearman Sr. and his brother, Gary Pearman.
Donnie was an avid golfer and enjoyed his yearly golf trip to Myrtle Beach, SC with his buddies.
He was an active member of the Greensboro Moose Lodge 685 and when he wasn’t working on
his yard, he enjoyed a ride on his motorcycle. Donnie had an infectious personality and never
met a stranger. He will be missed by many family members and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services of
Greensboro, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro, NC 27403 on July 1, 2024 from 5:00pm to
7:00pm.
