Jamie passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2022. He is survived by his two children who were his pride and joy and his whole world. Heather Barley (Cory Hatfield) and Josh Barley (Jessica Barley). He was “Poppa” to 4 grandchildren, Ryatt and Rowdy Hatfield, Jayden and Jace Barley who were the lights of his life, loving girlfriend Amy Mitchell, his sister Delilah Barley, special niece Stormey Cavezza and nephew Gary Allison and 3 great nephews Joseph, Zac and Paul, his two four legged shadows, Prissy and Tator Bug, as well as many other close friends and family. He was preceded in death by his Father Euliss A Barley, Mother Doris M Barley and his younger brother Joseph “Joey” Barley.
Jamie loved the outdoors, good music, riding his motorcycle and just having a good time. Hunting and fishing and just a breath of fresh air was among his favorite things. There wasn’t a season that passed him by where he wasn’t in the woods or on a pond with his kids, friends and a cousin or two. He was a very talented carpenter. Through the years, he worked for Koury Corp. and Petty Enterprises.
A visitation will be Monday, Nov. 28 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home with a chapel service to follow at 6:00pm. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends Tuesday after the graveside service at the residence of Josh and Jessica Barley.
