Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Greensboro. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel.
Born December 9, 1926 to the late Lyman and Lillian Fogleman in Henderson, NC, Mr. Fogleman was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for 30 years. He moved to Greensboro in 1959 and was Owner of Tinsley-Clark Co. and House of Linens. James volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling to Asia, Europe, Hawaii and many states in the U.S. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He loved spending time with his family and friends but, most especially with his grandsons, John, Koen, and Bryce Fogleman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Fogleman and his siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 68 ½ years, Frances Harper Fogleman; sons, Jim and Allen Fogleman; and grandsons, John, Koen, and Bryce.
