Herman Eugene Davis III

Herman was born March 11, 1976 to the proud parents, Vicki Clayton Jarrell and Herman Eugene Davis, Jr.

Herman was employed by North Carolina State Parks at Stone Mountain in Roaring Gap, NC. He loved his job and was looking forward too many more years there. Herman was very talented and was definitely a “Jack of ALL trades”. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed spending time at the coast with his family and friends and was an avid Tarheel fan!

Herman is survived by his mother, Vicki Jarrell of Swansboro, NC; father, Herman Davis, Jr and step mother Darlene of Greensboro, NC; grandfather Herman Davis, Sr. (Becky) of Greensboro, NC; his children Mackenzie Davis of Greenville, SC and her mother Michelle Blakely; Baileigh and Aleigha Davis of High Point, NC and their mother Lisa Glidewell (Spouse); Aiden Davis of Sparta, NC and his mother Jessica Reeves (special companion) along with his half sisters Abby and Alex Crouse of Sparta, NC; and Adalynn Davis of Sparta, NC . Herman also has several sisters and brothers, Ashley Davis (Jonathan) of Sparta, NC;James Hall ( Jamie) of Gibsonville, NC; Chad Hall ( Christy) of Riedsville, NC; David Jarrell of Newport, NC; Angel Allen (Ron) of Greensboro, NC; Amanda Jarrell ( Greg); Stokesdale NC and Tiffany Clark ( Scott) of Julian NC as well as several special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Wayne Jarrell and multiple grandparents.

Herman was loved by all and touched several lives. He will forever be remembered for his sweet spirit and giving soul.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel 6000 West Gate City Blvd. Greensboro, NC 27407 on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
