Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel, with Rev. Randy Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Born April 14, 1933 in Graysville, Indiana to the late William and Mabel Gorham, Harold was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. He worked in the Electrical Industry having worked at Starr Electric, Cooper Electric, Bryant-High Point, and retiring from Industrial Air. Harold was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the local Masonic Lodge in Greensboro, enjoyed fishing, golfing, coaching ice hockey, and baseball. Harold was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia “Pat” Gorham of the home; Cindy Petrille and her husband David of Charlotte, Shari Grissom and her husband Tom of Greensboro, and Glenn Gorham and his wife Donna of Greensboro; brother, William Gorham and his wife Marty of Louisiana; grandchildren, Matt Mabe and his wife Anna of Virginia, Jennifer Mabe of Greensboro; and Elizabeth Lindblad and her husband Chris of Delaware.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home and other times at the residence of his daughter, Shari and Tom Grissom, 26 Forest Lake Circle, Greensboro, NC 27407.
