Mrs. Hallie Hall Rierson

Mrs. Hallie Hall Rierson, 91, a resident of Greensboro died Thursday October 14, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Mrs. Rierson was born July 22, 1919 in Cumberland County a daughter of the late Calton English Hall and Nettie Jane Smith Hall. She was retired from the Belk Co. at Four Seasons Mall and was a member of Gate City Baptist Church.

On December 23, 1948 she was married to Roy Lewis Rierson who survives of the home. Also surviving are one daughter, Jo Anne Rierson Reynolds and husband Craig of Atlanta, GA; one son, Robert “Bob” Lewis Rierson of Jamestown and five grandchildren, Julie Harris and husband Todd, John Rierson, Catherine Rierson, Brett Reynolds and Kasey Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Chan Shaver, the Reverend Bill Claffey and Mr. Howard Chandler. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
