Gloria Jean Fournier

Gloria Jean Fournier, 70, a resident of Greensboro passed away at her home on Thursday October 12, 2017. Gloria was born February 14, 1947 in Warrenton, VA, the daughter of Levi and Mary Hensley Borntrager.

Gloria worked for the Guilford County Department of Social Services for over 30 years before retiring. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Tena Grace and Brenda Borntrager.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Richard Earl Fournier of the home; one daughter, Pamela Cannon of High Point and her son Travis Cannon; one son, Michael Jenkins of Thomasville; two step daughters, Bonnie McClaurin and husband Mac of Greensboro, Debbie Goodman of Reidsville; one step son, Terry Fournier and wife Pam of Lillington; three sisters, Shirley Myers, Debbie Marcus and husband John, and Patty Eckstein, all of Leesburg, VA; uncle, Charles Hitt of Culpeper, VA; several step-grandchildren; several step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27401 conducted by Pastor Michael Ornman. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
