Gary was born in Greensboro on June 3, 1957 son of Leo Frank Maness and Rebecca Ann Greene Maness. Gary served in the United States Navy and worked for a Logistics Warehouse. In addition to his parents Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Michael David Maness.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Kaye Maness of the home; son, Joshua J.S. Maness and “Niki” of Burnsville, NC; grandchildren, Everly Harlowe and Aida Jane Maness; nephew, Michael David Maness, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL; aunt, Eileen Maness Lafreniere “Gene Travis” of Stella, NC; many cousins, his extended Parrish family and friends.
