Frank Lyndon Sanford III

Frank met Susan Terry Sanford in 1959. They were married on 1960 in Greensboro, NC. Together they raised five children; Robert Sanford, Susan Sanford, Frank Sanford IV, Scott Sanford, Danny Sanford.

Frank is survived by Terry Sanford, wife, Susan Sanford, daughter, Scott Sanford, son, Danny Sanford, son.

He was preceded in death by Frank Sanford Jr, Father, Rita Sanford, Mother, Robert Sanford, Son, Frank Sanford, Son.

Frank served four years in the U.S. Air Force, receiving high honors during his service. He attended Arizona State and Guilford College. After completing his military service, Frank established his own company Hydro-Sil Heating Company where he worked for 40 years before retiring to private life at Sunset Beach NC.

Frank loved life, the beach and being surrounded by his close friends and family

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 24th at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Viewing from 11:00 to 12:00 and the service is at 12:00. Interment with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

A reception will be held at Old Town Draught House, 1205 Spring Garden St. in Greensboro.
