Evelyn K. Frazier

Mrs. Evelyn Kimbrough Frazier, 98, a resident of Greensboro Place died Saturday April 12, 2014 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Mrs. Frazier was born November 6, 1915 in Caswell County, the daughter of Fletcher C. and Sarah Kimbrough. She was employed with Sears for over 20 years before retiring. She was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Frazier was married in 1935 to Sulon J. Frazier who preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shirley F. Murphy; two sisters and six brothers.

Surviving are one daughter, Pat Murray of Greensboro; one son, Ken Frazier of Stoneville; her son-in-law, Karl Murphy of TX and four grandchildren, Scott M. Murray, Karen M. Harmston, Kelli E. Frazier and Todd S. Frazier.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Bud Parrish. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:30 until service time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Evelyn’s memory to Parkway Baptist Church, 1411 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro, NC 27408.
