Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park on Hwy. 29 in Greensboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Eva was born in Mayodan, NC on May 18, 1928 to the late Charlie and Emma Richardson and attended Gospel Baptist Church in Greensboro. She retired from Proctor and Gamble after 25 years of employment. Eva enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, participating in various church activities, and cooking for her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Carolyn Hinesley-Autrey of Swepsonville, NC, Jesse R. Davis, Sr. (Linda) of Greensboro, and Jeffrey G. Davis (Sherri) of Climax; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
