Eula Mae McGee

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Lebanon Baptist Church, 4635 Hicone Road, Greensboro, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Eula was born January 5, 1929, in Guilford County, NC, daughter of the late John Gordon and Ida Lee Talton. She and her family went around to many local churches singing gospel hymns. Eula was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. For many years she was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and most recently she and her husband were members of Church Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Ollivier, Kathy Pruitt; one sister and four brothers, and great grandchild, Brittany Dever. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Walt McGee; daughters, Terrie Lyon and husband, Joey of Colfax, Tammy Dones and husband, Richard of Whitsett; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
