Edna Delorise Ray Griffith

She was born January 8, 1929, in Guilford County, NC to the late William and Minnie Lou Ray. She was a devoted member of Gospel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Vance Griffith and her siblings, Ruby Rainey, Mary Mealy, William D. Ray, Jr., Bill, Howard, Bob and Lib Evans. She is survived by her son, Ray Vance Griffith of Greensboro; daughters, Jane Holland (Grady) of Summerfield, Rhonda Goodlett (Steve) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Stephen and Jason Holland, Shane and Devin Whitaker, Matt Goodlett and Stephanie Cooper and 8 great grandchildren,

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Thursday, December 22, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation in the Lineberry Center with Rev. Paul D. Luttrell officiating and interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
