Dennis was born in Danville, Virgina on February 6, 1959. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
He was predeceased by his Mother, Mary Catherine Slade in 2007.
He is survived by one daughter, Ashley Neri (Mark), of Winston-Salem, NC; one son, Dennis James Slade, Jr. (DJ), of High Point, NC; one sister, Linda Blackwell,of Greensboro, NC; and one brother, Kenneth Slade, of Danville, Virginia.
There will be no formal service or viewing at the previous request of the deceased.
