David Jerome Oakley, age 66, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. David was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and was the son of the late Sewell Gene Oakley and Blanche Kinney Oakley.
David is survived by his two sons, Travis and Daniel; his brother, Joe; his two sisters, Elaine and Celeste; and his two loving cats, Mur and Poopiedoo.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Mountain View Baptist Church, 297 Mountain View Church Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
