Mr. Dale L. Gordon, 92, of Greensboro, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at his home, after a lengthy illness.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Rev. R. Marion Boling officiating.
Mr. Gordon was a faithful member of Lawndale Baptist Church where in years past he served as an Usher and Sunday School Song Leader. He served in the United States Navy and retired from North State Chevrolet after many years of employment. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Tucker Gordon; his parents; and all but one of his siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include a brother, James Gordon of Randleman; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gordon of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lawndale Baptist Church 3505 Lawndale Dr. Greensboro, NC 27408.
