Cynthia Strader Russell

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Russell was born in Guilford County to the late David Strader and Mrs. Edna Ware Strader. She worked as a claims adjuster at Penn National for many years. She earned a master’s degree in Theology.

Cynthia raised and showed affenpinscher show dogs and had multiple winnings. She was a dedicated quality breeder. She loved nature, animals and was an avid fisherman. Cynthia was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and best friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister Beverly Ann Strader; Cynthia is survived by mother Edna Ware Strader; her sons, William Damion Russell and wife Tammy of Liberty and Joseph Adrian Russell of Greensboro; grandchildren, Rheydyn, Anslie, Logan, Justin and Brandon Russell; sister, June Gallimore; nephew, Thurmond Gallimore; and Leland Robert Russell.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel.
