Cynthia Mitchell Doss

.On July 1, 2017 this world lost an amazing woman, but Heaven gained an amazing woman in Cynthia Renee Mitchell Doss. Cindy as most called her, struggled with heart issues for many years, passed away peacefully in the arms of the ones who loved her.

Cindy leaves behind her loving finance, Sanford Locklear; her devoted son, Quinton Doss (Diana Fulk); her step-son, Roger Hicks, Jr. (Bonnie) and all of her fur babies. Cindy is also survived by her siblings, Billy and Teresa Mitchell of Stokesdale, Steve Mitchell and Jerry Hilton of Greensboro and Susie and Rick Francis of Colfax, Lillian Hammonds and Skip of Greensboro.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Pauline Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor Randy Pearman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington.

Cindy had a huge heart and loved her fur babies and family. She will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Memorials may be made in Cindy’s memory to the ASPCA
