Corinne ended her life's journey October 5th, 2023, surrounded by her loving children: Margaret, Laurence, Susan, Laura, Jeffrey and Kenneth, and after goodbyes from her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Corinne was born in North Bergen, NJ to Anna and Henry and was sister to Douglas and Richard, all whom have preceded her from this world.
Corinne was a poet and author who drew inspiration from the people she loved and the places she lived and visited, especially the mountains of Colorado, New Hampshire and New Jersey. In her lifetime, she was a mother and grandmother but also an activist for peace and justice, a business owner and a teacher.
Corinne was born and nurtured in a Lutheran family, but lived and loved as a Unitarian Humanist and this is the way in which she wished to be remembered.
A celebration of life event will be held for Corinne L Egerton on November 4, 2023 at 2pm at Forest Battle Village Clubhouse, 3216 Regents Park Lane, Greensboro NC 27455. Please join us if your able
