Ms. Cora Jane Rickman, 91 passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2014, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Street Chapel with the Reverend Don Clement officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery. Ms. Rickman was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Sally Rickman; daughter, Betty Huffman and sons, James and Floyd Ashby. She is survived by her children, Doris Nelson of Madison, Sidney Puckett of Eden, Steve Puckett and Cora Leigh Herndon, both of Greensboro, 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Street Chapel and at other times at Cora’s home.
