Cora Lee Edmondson, 85, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Starmount Golden Living. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, 4:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till service time at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
Cora was born in Durham, NC on March 17, 1926. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Masonic Home until her retirement. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was the most important part of her life and she devoted her time and love to them. She will always be remembered and loved.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children; Ron Edmondson and wife Maryann of Greensboro, NC and daughter, Cheryl Edmondson Edwards of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Eric Edmondson and wife Kary and Kelly Edmondson; great grandchildren; Ethan Edmondson, Ava Edmondson, and Blake Dunning.
