Colleen Glover Greene

Greensboro-Colleen G. Greene, 86, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Blumenthal Jewish Home after a brief stay. Colleen had battled bravely both cancer and heart failure. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10, at 2 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church with Pastor Marion Boling officiating. Interment will be in Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 prior to the service.

Colleen was born in Albemarle, NC one of five children to the late Roy and Lois Glover. She leaves behind a daughter, Gale Gray of Greensboro; son David (Maria) of Union, KY; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and half-brother, Gary Glover. She is preceded in death by her husband, David, who passed away in 1993 due to ALS.

She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church for more than twenty five years and loved her Sunday School class of Helen’s Angels.
