Mr. Charles Wilson

Mr. Charles Wilson, 64, a resident of Greensboro died Friday November 12, 2010 at Wesley Long Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born June 1, 1946 in Wilmington, NC a son of Holmes Edward and Nellie Grace Cottle Wilson. He was a graduate of Wallace-Rose Hill High School and was an electrician retiring from Ferguson Electric. He attended Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy K. Rivenbark.

Surviving are one daughter, Angie Wilson Schultz and husband Chris of Mayodan; one son, Charles Christopher “Chris” Wilson of Greensboro; two sisters, Bonnie Faye Giddings and Elsie G. Stokley both of Greensboro; one brother, Holmes Edward Wilson, Jr. and wife Judy of New Bern; four grandchildren, Chase Christopher Schultz, Mary Kathryn Grace Schultz, Shannon Christopher Wilson, Matthew Gray Wilson; many nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Allen Norman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Dr. Adrian Harris. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
