Carolyn had been in declining health in the last several years. She battled pulmonary and heart failure valiantly during this time. The Lupus that plagued her for many years was relentless and ultimately lead to her death from a Pulmonary Embolism. ( PE ).
Carolyn, our "Tooter,” was the daughter of Mr. Thurman "Thump" Lowe and Mrs. Esther Pegg Lowe whose deaths preceded her and they were there to welcome her home. Sister, Brenda Lowe Stewart and her husband Douglas "Sparky" Stewart of Brunswick Ct. in High Point, NC. They are left to miss and mourn her. They welcomed death knowing it was the relief from her pain and suffering. Her love of Jesus buoyed her many times when the pain was relentless. Also survived by our cousins Dennis Lowe, her special cousin and friend, Wilma Kay Pegg Johnson, Cindy Lowe, David Pegg and Lisa Pegg.
She is also sister to her loyal, deeply valued friends, Gayle Turner Nelson and Brenda Hipp Henley. Her friends from Peck Elementary. Jackson Junior High and Smith High School, class of 1966, were a strong source of her great happiness in her life.
Carolyn was pretty and intelligent. She was blessed with charm that attracted people into her circle and confidence. She was a loyal and lovable woman. If you knew her and adored her then you know she was blessed, caring, loving, sweet, beautiful and a woman of spirit, easily loved. She worked in many offices and countries. She brought her many talents to each position she worked. She brought talents that increased the worth of her contributions to each position.
Her only request regarding her funeral was her family and friends sing together her favorite Sunday School song--Jesus Loves Me. Gather with us in our goodbye and stay to fellowship in a reception with your friends and her family. We will see you at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September, 26th, 2018 at Advantage Funeral and Cremations on the corner of Vanstory and High Point Rd, (Gate City Blvd ) formerly, Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
