Brooke Alexandrea Belcher Hanna

A service celebrating Brooke's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 19, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Brooke was born July 27, 1992 in Greensboro, NC to Clark and Holly Belcher. Brooke was talented, adventurous, and enjoyed life. Her love of traveling took her all over the world, where she found her favorite place: Paris. She loved the beach as well as the mountains. Brooke had a love for animals, especially cats. She had an infectious smile that lit up a room. Her love for drawing and writing was visible. Brooke loved interacting and helping others so much that she became an ER Nurse and was working to become a Nurse Practitioner. She was recently voted Top 100 NC Nurses October 2020. She was a loving sister, daughter, mother and wife. Brooke loved her family, friends and co-workers. Her giving, kind-hearted soul touched everyone she knew. She was a loving angel on earth and now in Heaven.

Brooke is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Lou Belcher; maternal grandparents, Jerry W. and Penny S. Lewis and grandfather-in-law, Ralph Howard. She is survived by her husband, William Hanna; son, Sawyer James Hanna; parents, Clark and Holly Belcher; mother-in-law, Nicole Howard; father-in-law, Jeff Troy; sister, Savannah Parrish (Christian); brother-in-law, Lucas Howard (Tricia); cousin, Michael Belcher (Haley); aunt, Tammie Belcher; uncle, Chris Lewis and her fur feline babies, Piper and Watson. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
