Bobbie Ann Walker

Bobbie Ann Reid Walker, 90, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Thursday June 22, 2023 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. She was born July 28, 1932 in Iredell County the daughter of Robert Lee and Jennie Blankenship Reid.

Bobbie worked with P. Lorillard Tobacco Co. for several years. She loved music and sang with the Full Gospel Trio for 17 years.

She was married to Roscoe Walker who preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Brenda Gail Ward and her sister, Carolyn Ann Reid.

Surviving are her son, Robert Darnell “Donnie” Lowe and his wife Fay of Gibsonville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by Chaplain John Connor. Friends may come by Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel on Sunday to pay their respects and sign her memorial book from 12 pm until 5 pm and on Monday from 9 am to 5 pm. The family will also receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
