Bobbie Suits Smith

Bobbie Allen Suits Smith, 91, a resident of McLeansville passed away on Friday June 9, 2023 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. She was born December 13, 1931 in Guilford County, the daughter of Henry Allen and Myrtle Warner Suits.

A graduate of Jamestown High School, Bobbie worked at Guilford Mills for many years and later with the Guilford County School System. She was a member of Hinshaw United Methodist Church.

She was married to Richard Emery Smith who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her three daughters, Toni Smith Massengale, Terri Smith Lynch, Pam Smith; sisters, Beverly Suits Gardner, Priscilla Suits Coniber and brothers, Tony Suits, Henry Suits and Johnny Suits.

Surviving are her grandson, David Wayne Lynch, Jr.; sisters, Ann Suits Baliles, Kay Suits Tiller, Donna Suits Hoffman and brothers, David Suits, Paul Suits and Jack Suits.

Private family graveside services will be held at Guilford Memorial Park.
