Billie Patterson lived at River Landing at Sandy Ridge (Presbyterian Homes), where she enjoyed a life full of many friends and various activities for 18 years. She never met a stranger. Everyone who knew Billie loved her for her friendly smile and magnetic personality.

Billie was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a 24-year career at Wachovia Bank & Trust (Wells Fargo), where she was an Asst. Vice President. After she retired, she spent time with friends and family, enjoying her weekly bridge games and traveling. She particularly enjoyed pleasant beach trips with family. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Sedgefield Presbyterian Church for over 30 years and most recently was a member of High Point Presbyterian Church (since 2007). Billie was very involved at River Landing on the Hospitality Committee and enjoyed the High Point University Pharmacist’s Program as a mentor for an active pharmacy student for four years. Indefatigable as she was, Billie survived both breast and kidney cancer, but succumbed to stomach cancer.
