Bertha M. Hodges

Bertha Mae Moore Hodges, 92, passed away on January 28, 2017 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, North Carolina. She was born on July 27, 1924 in Durham, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Joseph C. Moore and Bertha M. Tilley. She was a graduate of Durham High School.

Bertha worked as a realtor but continued to work in other fields as well, into her late seventies. She was of the Baptist faith. She spent the last years of her life caring for her daughter Cynthia who preceded her in death in 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her children; Sheila Holliday and Mark R. Frick and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Todd Holliday, Kim and husband Jeff Kivett, Aimee Holliday, Jason Turner, Crystal and husband Jon Revill, Victoria Frick, Emily Frick, and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

The family wishes to express the deep appreciation for the care given to their mother by all staff at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, North Carolina.
