Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday evening November 20, 2016.
Beatrice was born July 31, 1922 in Stokes County to the late James and Elizabeth Priddy and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Her family was the most precious thing in her life. Beatrice was a Homemaker and a Baker. She never met a stranger and showed respect to everyone. Beatrice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hall Levan; a granddaughter, Stephanie Neece; and all six of her siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Elizabeth L. Pierce and her husband Gene of Julian, Jimmy E. Levan and his wife Ann of Brown Summit, Robert D. Levan and his girlfriend Laura Ververa of Greensboro, and Richard H. Levan and his wife Nancy of Greensboro; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
