Angela (Angie) Sue Poe

Angela “Angie” Sue Poe, 50, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at Alamance Regional Hospital in Burlington. She was born March 14, 1972 in Guilford County, the daughter of Robert L. and Sue Keaton Poe.

Angie was a graduate of Southern Guilford High School.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Marie Keaton; her paternal grandfather, Robert A. Poe and brother-in-law, Mark Lineberry.

Surviving are her parents Robert L. and Sue Poe; her sister, Wendy Pierce (Ron); nephews, Luke Pierce (Kaitlin, Adam Lineberry (Dawn), Matthew Lineberry (Anna), niece, Emily Pierce and many other relatives who loved her.

Private family graveside services will be held at Guilford Memorial Park. Angie will lie in state at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for those that would like to come by and pay their respects and sign her memorial book.

Angie had a huge heart for animals. In lieu of flowers, we think she would be thrilled to know that donations had been made in her memory to help animals. Angie adopted her most recent furbaby, Sunshine, from Sheets Pet Clinic Adoptions Program. She loved Sheets’ rescue mission and was always thinking of ways to support the program. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday October 30, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the home of her parents, 6570 Hunting Lodge Road Climax, NC 27233
