A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry with Rev. Jonathan Goins officiating. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel from 6-8 pm on Saturday night.
Alice was born to William Travis and Luna Walker Dyson on September 25, 1943. She graduated from Guilford High School and attended GTCC. She retired from Southern Foods in Greensboro after more than 25 years. Alice loved the beach and country concerts, especially Keith Urban. She was a wonderful cook and especially loved to bake. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
She is predeceased by her parents, Travis and Luna Dyson. She is survived by her son Eric C. Lawson; grandchildren, Nicholas Hardison, Travis Lee Lawson, and Dyson Cole Lawson; brothers, Lester P. Dyson (Nancy) of Greensboro, John C. Dyson (Carol) of Climax, William T. Dyson, Jr (Sheila) of Florida, Raymond L. Dyson (Janice) of Randleman; sisters Hilda M. Davis of Greensboro, Marie Fuller of Summerfield; aunt, Doris Jackson; many nieces and nephews and especially her favorite nieces Donna M. Fuller of Summerfield, and Linda D. Welborn of High Point.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Alice Dyson McIntyre.
