Wilma Ruth Johnson Ramsey

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ramsey was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four sisters and one brother-in-law: Mary Click, Freda Shuler, Louise Kennedy, Eleanor and Edgar Mellons;

three stepsons: Brandon Lee Ramsey, Bobby Lee Ramsey, Kenneth Ramsey and wife, Shirley; three stepdaughters: Jearldine Johnson and husband, Buster, Mary Ramsey, and Linda Ramsey; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and caregiver, Mike Mellons.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Hester Hensley Johnson and was preceded in death

by her husband of 30 years, Hubert “Stickman” Ramsey; three sisters, Eliza Bellamy, Dora

Campbell, Lena Mae Snodgrass; two brothers, Ray and Alfred Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Greystone Cemetery. Rev. Terry Mellons will officiate.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 12:00 noon Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery for the service. There will be no formal visitation.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
