She was retired and attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid quilter.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Teresa and Bobby Jones, Jr. of Greeneville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Traci Ricker of Morristown and Lynn and Angela Ricker of Greeneville; grandchildren: Heather Ricker and fiancé Aaron Tarlton, Sylvia Boesch and spouse Adam, Ashley Ricker and fiance Jamey Patrick; great grandchildren: Gavin and Paysli Patrick and Addilyn Boesch; sister: Linda Sue Yokley of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tommy and Mary Morgan of Bulls Gap, Ronnie and Barbara Morgan of Kingsport, Glen and Kim Morgan of Greeneville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Susie Harrison, Elaine Morgan, Tommy Hinkle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Mason and Edna Mae Gilland Morgan and was preceded in death by her husband: Furman Jack Ricker; two brothers: Otis Lee and Kenneth Gene Morgan; and one great grandchild: Brian Tarlton.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Old Kentucky Road.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Jerry Hopson officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be David Yokley, Josh Morgan, Bert Cansler, Aaron Tarlton, Lee Morgan, Jamey Patrick, Adam Boesch, Raymond Baskette, and Chris Baskette.
Dr. John Shaw, the staff of Amedysis Home Health, and the nurses and staff at Takoma Regional Hospital will serve as honorary pallbearers.
