She was previously employed by Greene Manufacturing Company, Holston Home for Children, and then retired from BTL, Inc.
She attended First Church of God as long as her health permitted and was a member of the Women of the Moose and VFW Ladies' Auxiliary.
Lorine loved to cook for her family and friends.
Survivors include a sister: Shirley Kindice, a niece, Kristine Kindice, two great nephews, whom she loved dearly, Jack and Tommy Gaffney, all of Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins by marriage.
She was the daughter of the late Richell and Maltie Peters Solomon and was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Jaynes; her second husband, Dudley Grubbs; a sister, Joann Solomon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen Aiken officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00am Thursday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and Amedisys Hospice.
