He was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Evelyn Davidson; three sons: Grant, Brock and Graham (Jessica) Davidson; a sister: Mary Whitehead (James); grandchildren: Lydia and Alyssa Davison, Trent, Caleb, Conner, Emily, Hudson, William, Eliza, several nieces and nephews, cousins and a special border collie: Buttons.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Lena Davidson; siblings: John Davidson, Nancy Manning, June Futrell, Betty Bellflower and Hilda Davidson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Pastor Dennis Shumate and Pastor Tommy Pierce officiating. The interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bell, Trent Davidson, Caleb Davidson, Connor Davidson, Jerry Vaughn, Mark Crawford and Eddie Owens.
Kiser-Rose Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
