Wanda Louise Jones

She was retired from Meco Corporation and was also a CNA.

Mrs. Jones attended Oakdale Union Church.

She enjoyed traveling, working in flower arrangements and home décor crafts.

She will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law: Brenda and Larry Fortner; niece: Faith Fortner; nephews: Brad and Joshua Fortner; and her mother-in-law: Shirley Ragsdale and her husband, Jack.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jeffery Jones; mother: Ruby Leona Fawbush; and father: John Stanton.

The family extends a special thanks to the Greene County EMS, Takoma ER staff, JCMC ICU staff and 6th floor doctors and nurses, Mountain State Hospice, and Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gene Wilcox officiating.

Interment will follow in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Fortner, Doug Wilcox, Phil Dugger, Glenn Collins, Brad Fortner, and Nick Witt.
